About Miami Dog Sitting and Boarding

Home boarding with a training side

Miami Dog Sitting and Boarding (MiamiDogSitting.com) is a holistic home boarding and cage-free daycare service in Miami. Its main services are overnight boarding ($42-$50 a night), in-your-home care ($120 a night), daycare ($35 a day), dog walking, simple baths, home visits and pick-up or drop-off. The home is described as smoke-free and fully air conditioned, with a fenced and locked yard, 24/7 supervision and room for senior dogs, and the sitter is CPR and first aid certified.

Training and rehabilitation

Training and rehabilitation are offered on inquiry. The training style is described as purely psychological, aimed at bringing a dog back to balance, from teaching an owner to walk a dog on a leash to deeper issues where a dog has taken on the pack leader role. Sessions ideally include the owner and the dog. Some dogs with a psychological imbalance start with one-on-one rehabilitation while boarding, followed by training with the owner. The core idea is energy: commands are secondary to the energy the handler gives off.
