About Mission K915

Structured team training in Davenport

Mission K915 is an independent dog training service in Davenport, Iowa, built around the tagline "Structure. Clarity. Mission K915 Ready." Rather than obedience for its own sake, it trains dog and handler together as a team so the dog can follow the owner's lead on neighborhood walks, trails and high-distraction settings. The business traces its start to Nova, a golden doodle with reactivity and fear who became calm and confident through structure, clear expectations and consistent feedback.

Method

Training happens in sequence, one step at a time, and a dog isn't asked to handle pressure until it understands what's being asked. Correct responses earn food, praise and rewards, and mistakes are fixed with clear feedback and structured games. Tools are chosen deliberately and tailored to each dog, and the approach is described as "direct, fair, and rooted in the handler/companion relationships," with trainer support throughout.

Programs

Sessions start with a Meet and Greet Mission, followed by named programs including The K915 Mission full course, The Boomerang Mission, The Glide Mission, The Knock Knock Mission and The Patience Mission. The focus for now is on training dog and human together.
