About Model Paws Dog Training

What they offer

Model Paws Dog Training is based in Irmo and serves the surrounding areas. Its site offers two training paths – family dogs and service dogs – along with a board-and-train program.

Who runs it

The site names Allie Duncan as owner and lead trainer and describes her as experienced with both family pets and service dogs. The About page says her interest in training began as a child, inspired by a trick show at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, grew through training her family's Cavachon, Libby, and later took her to Texas, where she trained detection dogs.

Approach

The home page says Model Paws uses positive reinforcement with a focus on clear communication and mutual respect between you and your dog.
