About Molinsky Dog Training

Results-driven training in Storm Lake

Molinsky Dog Training offers results-driven dog training in Storm Lake, Iowa. Trainer Aaron Molinsky has spent years working hands-on with dogs of all temperaments, from high-drive working breeds to shelter dogs on the edge of being unadoptable. He focuses on "a methodical process that can be reliably learned and repeated by dogs and their owners."

Method

Aaron uses proven, balanced methods that hold dogs accountable while building trust and respect, guided by clear communication, consistent structure and calm leadership. His approach has three steps: teach the dog exactly what's expected, hold it to that standard every time, and show the owner how to maintain it. Every program is tailored to the individual dog, and clients get honest feedback, a clear plan and coaching, with the goal of a capable owner who can handle their dog under any level of distraction.

Common problems

The business helps with pulling on walks, reactivity around dogs or people, jumping and overexcitement, ignoring commands around distractions, poor recall and difficulty settling at home, as well as building reliable obedience and starting puppies.
