Moonlight Shadow Ranch Pet Resort is a boarding ranch at 380 County Road 2148 in Greenville that also offers obedience training. The team places boarding dogs into play groups chosen for their social development, drawing on experience reading animal behavior, and stresses early socialization as a way to prevent fear and aggression.

Training

The Board & Train program gives a dog schooling while its family is away: 4-5 twenty-minute training sessions a day, with a minimum of 14 days recommended for best results. Dogs learn sit, stay, down, here, heel without pulling, leave it and off-leash heel, and owners are expected to keep practicing after pickup. For owners who want to do the training themselves, 1-On-1 Training Sessions teach obedience in one-hour sessions for $50 each.

Boarding

Boarding dogs get a large outdoor play area, indoor lounging in bad weather and the heat of the day, individual attention and photos on request. Cats, small animals and reptiles are boarded as well.
