About MuttSchool: dog training and behavior

What they offer

MuttSchool in Manhattan describes "Play-based training. Real-life results. No fear, no force." Training starts with a behavioral evaluation in your dog's home environment, for issues such as pulling on the leash, jumping on people, mild reactivity to other dogs, fear-based behaviors, resource guarding or separation anxiety. The home page says puppies under 6 months do not need an evaluation unless there is a behavioral concern.

How you train

The site says "MuttSchool has gone Mobile." It offers private lessons at your home, training walks at an agreed-upon location, workshops at local training spaces and online training. The About page adds service dog tasks and behavior modification for fear, aggression or compulsive behaviors.

Trainers

The About page says: "Since 2011, our CPDT-certified trainers have helped more than 6,000 Kansas dogs master real-life skills".
