Muttz Dog Lounge
Overview
About Muttz Dog Lounge
Muttz Dog Lounge on Central Avenue bills itself as Albany's first indoor dog lounge. It is primarily a daycare and social space, and training is published as one section of the offer rather than the main event.
What is published
The navigation lists training alongside daycare, play groups, luxury baths, an adventure pack and events, with a client portal for bookings. The training page is a learn-more route rather than a published curriculum, so ask what the program covers.
Daycare and play groups
Daycare is published at $54 per day per dog for supervised exercise and attention. Private play groups run at $25 per hour per dog, with owners staying for the session – a controlled small-group option rather than open daycare. Applications are reviewed by phone before a dog is accepted, and the lounge operates Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, by appointment only.
Parties
The lounge also runs ninety-minute dog parties at $260 for up to ten dogs, including decorations, a dog pinata and refreshments for the humans, with a custom dog cake as a $45 add-on.
What to ask
If training is what you are shopping for, this is a business to call about specifics: ask about the format, the trainer and the price.
