About Neighborly Leash

Neighborly Leash is a family-owned dog care service in Waxhaw with a deliberately tight catchment: its own site says it serves only Waxhaw, within a limited ten-minute service radius, specifically so the care stays dependable and consistent, and it keeps an intentionally small client base.

The training side

Alongside its care services the business publishes training and enrichment – expert support for manners, confidence and real-life skills. What is unusual here is where that expertise comes from: the site says the business was built on years of experience with Project 2 Heal, a service-dog nonprofit, that the owner worked there as a puppy development specialist and dog trainer, and that the nonprofit's founder acts as the business's training advisor, helping design programs and overseeing progress. The business also says it operates on his property, a space intentionally designed for canine training and enrichment.

Pricing is published on the site's own pricing page.
