About Niki the Dog Trainer, LLC

What they offer

Niki the Dog Trainer is a trainer and behavior specialist who lives and works in the Denver area and offers private in-home sessions. Packages are grouped into basics, commands and puppies, and behavior work such as reactivity and anxiety. The site says her cases have ranged from basic communication and commands to severe anxiety and aggression.

Behavior work

The behavior modification page lists overexcitement, fear, anxiety and aggression, and calls leash reactivity the most common issue owners face, whether a dog pulls, lunges, whines, barks or growls at dogs, people, cars or squirrels. Reactivity toward new people is also covered.

How it works

Clients start with one initial session to get training going and confirm the fit, then decide together how many sessions to book and how often to meet. The site lists availability on Tuesdays through Fridays and Sundays. Niki promotes positive reinforcement training and began through volunteering at shelters.
