NYC Doggies
Overview
About NYC Doggies
NYC Doggies is one of the older dog businesses in this directory. Its founder, Ovidiu Stoica, began training dogs for private clients, conformation shows and Schutzhund competition in 1997 and founded the company in 2002; the site lists more than twenty-five years of professional work with dogs.
What is offered
The published service list separates training from care: dog training (broken out as puppy training, obedience training and behavioral training), then dog walking, dog hiking, dog boarding and dog sitting. Off-leash hiking and swimming outside the city is its own product.
The team
The walkers and hikers are named individually with the year each joined, several of them going back to 2016 and 2018. Long tenure in a service where turnover is usually high is the thing this business chooses to show.
Client relationships
The accounts the company publishes describe relationships that span dogs rather than years — one client has used them since 2007 across two dogs — and the site has been covered by the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Fox 5 and NPR's Radio Pet Lady.
Hours
Weekdays 9am to 6pm, weekends and holidays 10am to 3pm.
