<p>Off Leash MKE has operated since 2016 and calls itself "Milwaukee's premier adventure club for dogs." The core of the business is enrichment-led care – midday dog walking, Adventure Club outings on wooded trails and shoreline, puppy care, cat sitting and overnight care for established dog clients – and training sits alongside it rather than replacing it. It serves Milwaukee, Wauwatosa, Whitefish Bay, Shorewood, Bay View, Fox Point, Glendale, Mequon, River Hills, Cedarburg and surrounding communities.</p>

<h3>Training</h3>

<p>The stated training philosophy is "Fear Free &amp; force-free – no pain, fear, or intimidation," using positive reinforcement with no aversive tools. Certified trainer and puppy development programs "focus on building confidence, strengthening communication, and creating practical skills that last a lifetime," and the site describes meeting puppies "exactly where they are" and building confidence at their own pace. Individual training and behavior support sessions are available to clients.</p>

<h3>Team and standards</h3>

<p>Every team member is described as background checked, insured and put through "over 60 hours of training, including CPR &amp; First Aid certification." The company states it is Fear Free Certified and FetchFind Approved, with specialized training in canine and feline behavior. Named staff include founder and owner Lori Riegler (FFCP), general manager Marsha Zay (CPDT-KA, FFCP), described as bringing seven years of professional canine care experience when she joined in January 2023, and Amy Stel (FDM, CSAP-BC, FFCP), who joined in autumn 2025 with advanced training in Fear Free practices, Family Dog Mediation, separation anxiety consulting and enrichment.
