Actions Based Dog Training

Olympus Dog Training is a Salt Lake City dog training business founded by Deb West, who has been training professionally since 2018 and has won in obedience trials with her own dog. She developed the company's Actions Based Dog Training system, which puts compassion first and follows five steps: understand, reward, manage, deter and adapt, using treats and practice alongside timing and tools.

Packages

The Puppy Package ($950) includes a STAR Puppy class, puppy socialization, puppy matching, temperament testing and an in-home lesson. Family Companion ($1,950) includes an intake evaluation, a personal training plan and 8 in-home lessons. Adventure Buddy ($2,900) adds adventure outings, and Therapy Team ($3,350) combines group obedience, private lessons, outings and a therapy dog practice evaluation. The Intensive Board and Train is $2,700 per week for up to 4 weeks, with public access skills and training vlogs.

Single services

A la carte options include a free 30-minute virtual consultation, virtual lessons ($95), private in-home lessons ($150), adventure outings and behavior training ($275), puppy matching ($95), litter temperament testing ($300), CGC practice evaluations ($225) and a $45 socialization class.
