Tess is amazing and I can't recommend Patriot K9 Training enough! We just completed the virtual lesson package with Tess and my partner and I feel so much more confident about the future with our pup Milo. The lessons have made a huge difference in his behavior and we feel well prepared to continue his training thanks to Tess! She is so encouraging, knowledgeable, responsive, and clearly cares about her clients (dogs & people). She was very responsive between lessons if we had any questions or needed advice as we worked on things throughout the week. We felt so supported through the entire process which is something I really appreciated. I was unsure about the virtual lessons but they are worth every penny and then some. The individualized training plan and advice we got was truly invaluable!

We had never considered a dog trainer before because our first dog was so easy to train and fun to work with. Our newest addition, Milo, proved to be a bit more wild and we didn't quite know how to approach training. I am so happy we found Patriot K9 Training because now that we have the right tools/knowledge Milo is easy to train AND fun to work with too! Thank you so much Tess.

Training with Tess was effective, rewarding, and worth the money. The 2 week board & train honestly took me from not sure I could keep my dog to enjoying life with him. We did a puppy consultation with Tess before getting our puppy, and then a 2 week board & train once our puppy was 6 months old. He was a wild animal when we left him with Tess, and a studious little man when we brought him home.

The puppy consultation was very thorough and complete leaving us with little to no questions. It gave us a lot of confidence leading up to purchasing our pup.

Since every dog is different, sometimes your best laid plans end up useless. This happened a LOT with my pup in the first few weeks, and I got very stressed and overwhelmed. It was an incredible help and comfort being able to call & text Tess for advice and encouragement through the first few weeks with the pup. Some days I felt really alone under the weighty responsibility of this new pup, and having someone with experience that I could trust to turn to was invaluable.

We were beyond ready for the 2 week board and train by the time our pup hit 6 months. We were still not certain we would keep him honestly, even after dropping him off. Tess & Nate sent us updates every day in picture and video as our pup learned new things and had new experiences. It was great to see, and it was a much needed break for us. When we came to pick him up Tess showed us all that he learned and we were very impressed. His new commands made it possible to live with him rather than live for him.

We have continued reinforcing and expanding his training with occasional check-ins and advice with Tess & Nate. Puppy life is better than ever. I don't regret a penny of this training. It was necessary for us and the dog.

I don't even know where to begin to thank Tess and Nate! I would highly recommend any of their services offered. My pup, Cal and I started out doing virtual lessons for e-collar conditioning and reactivity, and that was a dream! Tess was always willing to answer as many questions as I had, to give solutions, and to provide guidance. Not only are Tess and Nate understanding and flexible, they're incredible trainers. When Cal's reactivity (and hatred for loose leash walking) got to be too much for me to handle, I sent Cal to Tess and Nate for a two week board and train. It was so great being able to see him on their Instagram, and to have daily check-ins with them. I 100% trust Tess and Nate, their judgement, their dog care, and their dedication to training. Cal and I still have to work together on some of his reactivity, it he is so much easier to handle and I am so much more knowledgeable about what, when, and how to correct him. I cannot say enough good about Tess and her training skills. I had a very shy and anxious puppy. He does not like to be around strangers and was constantly in a state of unease. I was terrified that Tess would never reach him. Not only did she reach him, he loved her and learned so very much. He also had some bad manners and bad listening skills. He is a totally different dog. Tess is amazing! She treats every dog as if it were hers. Taking Mack there was THE BEST decision I ever made❤️

Tess and Nate did an amazing job with our reactive German Shepherd. She taught us how to communicate with him more effectively and taught him that he needs to follow commands no matter what. She has given us the confidence to take him out in public and learn how to manage potential triggers and reactions. I am so glad we went with Patriot K9 Training!
