About Paws 4 Play

Daycare, boarding and K9 training in Tequesta

Paws 4 Play is a dog daycare, boarding and training center in Tequesta, located in the Tequesta Shoppes at 185 US-1. Its 4,300 sq. ft. facility has a secure covered outdoor play area, and staff are trained in pet safety protocols including emergency first aid and pet CPR. Boarding is available 7 days a week.

Training

Training is led by Bob Diddle, who has over 25 years' experience and works with all breeds and ages. Bob evaluates each dog and builds a program that suits both the dog and the owner, starting with a free consultation. Training topics include obedience, behavior training, reactivity, on- and off-leash work, basic and advanced training, distraction training, socialization with people and dogs, housebreaking and crate training.

What owners say

One daycare and boarding client wrote that the staff "treat the dogs as if they were their own."

What to ask

Ask how training sessions are scheduled, whether training can be combined with daycare or boarding, which methods Bob uses, and what a program costs.
