About Paws In Paradise Luxury Resort & Spa

Training at a boarding resort

Paws in Paradise is primarily a boarding, daycare and grooming resort, but it runs a real training program inside it rather than a token one. The offer is group and private classes plus two-week and three-week board and train options. The site describes the range as running from puppy training and basic obedience through to reactivity and problem behaviors, and lists what the trainers work on: behavior modification for chewing, barking and counter surfing, resource guarding, separation anxiety, confidence building and socialization for new dogs and household changes. Trainers are described as assessing each dog on breed, temperament and personality before recommending an approach.

The rest of the resort

Dog suites have private cameras that owners can watch through an online portal. Play runs in small managed groups on fenced artificial turf, and the site says two industrial air-handling systems maintain air quality. Cats board separately in multi-story condos. A full-service spa covers baths through to all-inclusive packages for dogs and cats.

On-site veterinary care

The feature that distinguishes the place is a veterinary clinic on the premises with a licensed veterinarian on staff, open to local pets as well as to guests, with medical boarding offered. The site says its veterinary staff monitor boarders for signs of illness and stay in contact with the pet's own veterinarian where needed.
