About Pawsh Pet Resort & Spa

Resort, spa and training

Pawsh Pet Resort & Spa is an upscale pet resort in Oakland offering boarding, doggy day care, grooming, pet sitting and full-service dog training, with all daily activities supervised.

Dog training

Group classes in the fully equipped facility cover Basic, Puppy and Advanced Obedience. Classes are limited to 10 dogs and run 8 weeks, one hour each, and the first night is for owners only, focused on their role. Owners learn to teach house manners, sit, stay, come, leave it and go to your bed, greeting strangers, loose-leash walking and socialization, and they are taught how to keep training new behaviors at home. Board & Train adds private lessons while a dog boards, socialization runs in group or private settings, and behavior issues such as aggression, biting, potty training, fighting and destructive behavior can be addressed at Pawsh Pet or in your home. Doggy daycare with training is also available.
