About Pawsitively Yours Dog Training

Pawsitively Yours Dog Training L.L.C. is a one-person Staten Island practice run by Allison Regan, who signs the site with her own name, her Staten Island location and a direct email and mobile number rather than a booking desk.

What is offered

The published navigation sets out the shape of the business: a free Ask the Trainer Zoom call, games-based training, a page explaining why the practice teaches virtual classes, a one-to-one program called Struggle to Strength, guidance on collars, leashes and long lines, affiliate courses through AbsoluteDog, and a library of training videos. Booking is done online.

How it works

Two things are distinctive. The first is the games-based approach, which is the concept AbsoluteDog is built around – training through short structured games rather than drilled commands – and the affiliate courses listed on the site point the same way. The second is that the practice leans deliberately on virtual delivery and argues the case for it on its own page, which makes it one of the few Staten Island options for an owner who cannot get a trainer into the house or a dog into a class.

What to ask

Ask about prices, the class schedule and where sessions take place. The credentials the site does display are badges rather than text – a Pro Dog Trainer Certified 2019 mark, an Absolute Dogs Pro Dog Partner badge, an A-OK9 Partner badge and a Pet Partners logo – and all four are the business's own claims. An owner should treat the free introductory call as the way to establish scope, method fit and cost. The site carries a 2024 copyright line.
