About Pawssibilities
Pawssibilities is a deliberately small operation: "Pawssibilities offers small group classes, private training sessions and behavioral consultation."
Prices and courses, as published
Private work is priced two ways: "In-Home Private Consultation @$125 per hour. Private Sessions at Crate & Marrow Training room @$100 per hour". The puppy courses run four weeks – Puppy 101 for "Ages 8 weeks to 8 months" where "Cost is $125.00 for the four week session and training treats are provided", followed by Puppy 201, which the trainer introduces with "The real fun begins when they become teenagers!" and which covers "leash walking, longer stays with distractions, proper greeting, leave-it with items on the ground". Learning Good Dog Skills Level 1 covers the same ground for dogs "6 months and up". Two short one-session classes are published at "$30.00" each.
Scent work
A beginner nose work course is published: "Dogs will learn to identify certain scents, in this class it will be food", then find them "in different containers placed about the room".
Who teaches
Karen Quillen ran All Things Pawssible in Charlottesville for two decades before selling it to return to smaller groups and private sessions. The site states she "is nationally recognized for her work with her dog Dana in Rally-O".
A note on the site
One page of the site is still the website builder's placeholder text rather than the trainer's own copy. Nothing on this profile was taken from it.
