About Peace Love and Paws
Peace Love and Paws is a family-owned Nashville facility on Brick Church Pike that does daycare, boarding and training, and it tells its own story in the voice of the resident dog. Behind the jokes the structure is clear: it started in 2017 with the founders caring for dogs from home, grew into a facility in November 2018, and is still owned and run by the same family.
What the training covers
The published list of what they work on is concrete: impulse control, leash manners and walking, reactivity, place, everyday obedience and commands, confidence and appropriate socialization, and other behaviors specific to your dog. Programs are described as varying in length depending on the dog, and can include boarding throughout the program, daycare and group socialization where the dog is a good fit, the training tools needed, and follow-up sessions at home with the owner. The site asks you to email for current pricing, program information and availability.
How they think about dogs
The site makes a point of not running every dog through the same template: "Not every dog wants the same thing. Some want to wrestle with their friends all day. Some want three friends and absolutely no additional applicants. Some would rather sit beside a teacher and judge everyone from a couch. Some need extra patience before they feel comfortable. We don't expect every dog to fit into the same little box."
Beyond training
Daycare and boarding run alongside the training, and the business runs a Community Care program working with local groups to help dogs who need "a safe place, a fresh start, and a chance to find their people". An on-site supervisor lives at the facility, so overnight guests are not left unattended.
Who this suits
Owners who want daycare or boarding and training from the same place, and who value a small family-run operation over a chain. Owners looking for a published curriculum and price list will need to email first.
