Peace Love Dogs in Houston

Peace Love Dogs is a training, boarding, daycare and grooming center at 9619 Yupondale Drive in Houston. Its training is rooted in positivity and backed by research, and each trainer focuses on five to six dogs on average to build a real relationship with each one.

Trainers

Director of Training Katie Clark joined in 2016 and holds the CDBC, CPDT-KA, CCFT and CTDI, and is an AKC CGC and Trick Dog Evaluator. Senior trainer Greg joined in 2017 and holds the CPDT-KA, CBCC-KA and CSCC, plus Fear Free certification.

Programs

Prep School is a four-week day training program for dogs 10 weeks and up: 20 days of training Monday through Friday, six private lessons, a training tool and a night of lodging. Private lessons run one hour in four- and eight-week programs, at home, at a neutral location or both. The Basic Skills group class meets weekly for six weeks for dogs 5 months and older. Puppy Social Club meets every Saturday for puppies up to 5 months, with the first session free. Personalized day training helps graduates keep building skills.

Monday to Friday 7:30am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 4pm.
