In-home training at the Delaware beaches

Pepper's Paws Dog Training, LLC is a Rehoboth Beach business providing in-home dog training at the Delaware beaches, including Rehoboth, Lewes, Milton, Bethany, Ocean View, Milford and Lincoln, with remote lessons by Zoom for other areas. Head Trainer Deb Murray is a Certified Behavior Consultant (CBCC-KA), Certified Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), Service Dog Training Coach, Certified Fear Free Animal Trainer and AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, and several vet practices in Sussex County refer patients to her.

Services

Private in-home lessons work on jumping, nipping, basic obedience, polite leash walking and barking, along with housebreaking and crate training for puppies and introducing a newly adopted dog to a resident dog. Programs also cover separation anxiety, getting a dog ready for a new baby, and a Fear Free training program, and Deb performs in-home behavior evaluations and behavior modification. Her specialties are puppy training, helping dogs adjust to new homes, and helping dogs with fear aggression build confidence using positive, non-forceful training.

Lessons

Every program includes lesson summaries and handouts, with support by phone, text or email between lessons. Private lessons are held during the day on weekdays.
