Arlington Green Oaks classes
At 4001 W Green Oaks Blvd, Arlington's Green Oaks Petco (store 2418) teaches dogs in small in-store groups or in private sessions. Group courses last six weeks with hour-long classes of up to five dogs, sorted by the dog's age.
Levels
– Puppy, 8 to 16 weeks: potty training, socialization and first cues.
– Beginner, 16 weeks to 6 months: loose-leash walking, leave it, wait and tricks.
– Fundamentals, 6 months and up: core cues plus curbing jumping and barking.
– Advanced, 6 months and up: heel, recall with distractions and games for mental stimulation.
Private sessions run 45 minutes with a customized plan, and new customers can start with an introductory private lesson.
