Burtonsville's Petco, store 2871, trains dogs at 15622 Old Columbia Pike. Both small group courses and private sessions are available.

Group and private

Group learning runs six weeks, an hour per class, alongside up to four other dogs. The Puppy level welcomes dogs 8 to 16 weeks old; Beginner follows to six months; Fundamentals and Advanced serve dogs older than that. Private 45-minute sessions focus on goals set with the trainer, and a first introductory lesson is offered to new customers.
