About Petco Dog Training
South Tamiami Trail store
Petco store 1773 is located at 13741 S Tamiami Trl in Fort Myers. Its trainers run in-store group courses and private sessions for dogs of all ages and breeds.
Group courses
Each course meets weekly for six weeks, an hour at a time, with up to five dogs. The Puppy course, for 8 to 16 weeks, starts potty training and socialization. Beginner follows for dogs up to 6 months. Fundamentals tackles jumping and barking for older dogs, and Advanced works on recall with distractions plus games for mental stimulation.
Private sessions
One-on-one sessions last 45 minutes and are scheduled flexibly. Packages of four or six private lessons come with a customized training plan, and new customers can begin with a single introductory lesson to talk through behaviors and goals.
Store hours
Monday to Saturday training is 9-9; on Sunday it ends at 8 p.m. The Tamiami Trail store can be reached at (239) 466-3737.
