Petco Dog Training in Great Falls holds classes at the store at 1601 Market Pl Dr, with training hours seven days a week. Classes are open to all ages and breeds, and treats are used to reward the behavior owners want.

Group classes

Six-week in-store group classes run an hour each, with up to four other dogs and owners, at $149 per course. Puppy (8 to 16 weeks) covers the potty training process, proper socialization and foundational cues like sit, down and come. Beginner (16 weeks to 6 months) adds loose-leash walking, leave it, wait, tricks and games. Fundamentals (6+ months) covers core cues, loose-leash walking and curbing jumping and barking. Advanced (6+ months) works on heel, recall with distractions and polite greetings.

Private lessons

Private sessions run 45 minutes with flexible scheduling, one-on-one attention and a customized training plan. New customers can book a $39 Private Lesson 101, and packages are $249 for four sessions or $329 for six.

What to bring

Owners bring a leash, collar or harness, proof of vaccinations, training treats and poop bags to class.
