Store 1755, the Petco at 1951 N Military Trl in West Palm Beach, hosts in-store dog training. Group classes run six weeks, with hour-long sessions shared with up to four other dogs.

Group levels

Puppy class takes dogs from 8 to 16 weeks and covers potty training, socialization and cues like sit, down and come. Beginner is for 16 weeks to 6 months, adding loose-leash walking, leave it and wait. Fundamentals, for dogs 6 months and older, works on jumping and barking alongside core cues; Advanced adds heel, recall with distractions and polite greetings.

Private work

Private sessions last 45 minutes with a certified trainer, starting from an introductory Private Lesson 101 for new customers, with 4 and 6 session packs.
