About PetSmart Dog Training

Store training in Tigard

PetSmart Dog Training in Tigard runs classes at the store at 7501 SW Dartmouth St, near OR-217 and off SW 72nd Ave. Accredited Trainers teach every class with positive reinforcement, for puppies and adult dogs of all ages.

Classes

Group classes are small, 4 to 10 dogs, and give dogs a chance to practice responding to cues around real distractions. Courses run over several weeks so owners can practice between sessions, across three levels, and graduates can move on to advanced skills such as special tricks and therapy dog training. Private classes address a dog's individual needs at its own pace, and savings packages combine two or more classes. The store also offers grooming, PetsHotel boarding and Doggie Day Camp.

What to ask

Ask about class prices, start dates and which level suits your dog.
