About Play Dog Play Training Center
Daycare, enrichment and boarding
Play Dog Play is a locally owned Vermont doggie daycare whose Williston Road Training Center sits at 1725 Williston Road in South Burlington. The business first opened on Pine Street in Burlington in 2008 and added the Williston Road location in 2015. Across both facilities it offers daycare, enrichment days and boarding, plus small retail stores.
Enrichment days
Enrichment days run only at the Williston Road location and include at least three sessions of individual and small-group activities, such as obstacle courses, trick training, small-group socials and food-based brain games. They suit dogs with a lower social battery than a full day of daycare requires, as well as dogs who want high levels of stimulation.
Daycare and boarding
Daycare groups are monitored by dog handlers who help dogs settle in and improve their social skills, with indoor agility playgrounds and outdoor play areas. Boarding is limited to about fourteen to twenty dogs per location. A trial day is required before regular daycare or boarding.
What owners say
One owner wrote that their dog "is having such a fantastic time there and we are getting such incredible feedback on her growth and learning."
