About Positive First Dog Training LLC

Who runs it

Positive First is Mandy, and the site puts her at the center of the decision: "Click on Rates and Services above to see if Mandy is a fit for your training needs!" A flyer the business hosts on its own domain gives her full name and post-nominals as "Mandy Miller BA, CEI" and adds the line "Trusted, Experienced = Results!"

What they offer

The site's own list of what it trains for reads: "Puppy Training", "Service Dogs (PTSD, POTS, Mobility, Medical Alert, Narcolepsy, Blood Pressure, etc.)", "Behavior Modification", "Aggression", "Fear", "Potty Training", "Rescue/Foster Dog Issues" and "Canine Sports". The navigation names the same programs as pages of their own – Puppy Camp, Service Dog Training, Group Classes – alongside "Rates and Services", "Our Methods", "Dominance and Play" and "Agility".

Background

"Mandy has been competing in Agility since 2008." The site continues: "She focused on behavior modification for about 10 years and is now back in the canine sports world with her behavior modification skills to bring to the table as well as her competition experience." The flyer on the same domain carries the line "Helping Clients Since 2008" and displays an Association of Professional Dog Trainers badge and an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator badge.

Where they are

The site states both halves of its geography in one place: "Serving Owensboro KY We are located in the beautiful area of Philpot KY." A banner the business hosts on its own domain, headed "Positive First Dog Sports and Training Facility", also reads "Philpot KY". The flyer on the same domain instead reads "Located in Owensboro KY".

Guarantee and client material

The site publishes a satisfaction guarantee verbatim: "If at any time before your second lesson you are not satisfied with the instruction/results you have received, we will happily refund you for that lesson." Clients get a homework area – "Click Here to enter the homework site for POSITIVE FIRST clients" – and the site's own writing covers bell potty training, dominance, affection and play, dog-dog aggression, potty training young puppies, and house-training adult dogs.
