About Positive Paws Pet Training Inc.

What they do

Positive Paws publishes three program groups on its own site: trick classes, behavioral and obedience training, and what it calls everyday solutions. Every program begins with an initial consultation in which the family's goals and objectives are discussed, and the site says instructional materials are provided to support the learning between sessions.

The approach

The business's stated position is that it promotes a healthy relationship between owner and dog by establishing clear expectations, and that success comes from positive training combined with the owner's active participation. The home page claims a St. Charles County first place in a local vote.

Credentials

This is the most heavily corroborated practitioner in the bundle: Kimberly Gracner appears in the CCPDT register as CPDT-KA, in the AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator register and in the APDT member list, in all three cases in St Charles and in two of them carrying this business's own domain and published email.

A local note

Another trainer in this directory, PetImpact! in St. Louis, records on its own site that its founder trained for two years under Kim Gracner before going out on her own.
