Precision Canine is a Lynchburg company founded in 2023. Its own site organizes the business into three lanes: pet training, training for law enforcement, and detection services. On the pet side the company describes offering "multiple avenues to achieve better behavior for your beloved pet in just a few weeks," beginning with a free in-person consultation at which the dog and the situation are assessed and the training options and costs are discussed.

The law-enforcement lane is described as "specialized training programs" tailored to agencies, and the detection lane as K-9 services for "proactively detecting narcotics, explosives, and firearms" at businesses, schools and events.

Who runs it

Andrew Kasecamp founded the business after a career in law enforcement. His own account: he graduated from Virginia Wesleyan University with a degree in Criminal Justice, joined the Hampton Police, began working toward a K-9 handler position in 2012 and was selected for his first K-9 in 2014. After five years as a handler he moved to the private sector as a lead law-enforcement trainer, later becoming a Director of Training and Education. He returned to the Lynchburg area with his wife, Samantha, to start the company.
