Training, daycare and grooming in Sugar House

Pups is a dog grooming, training and daycare business with its Sugar House location at 1123 E 2700 S in Salt Lake City, part of a small group of Pups locations that also includes Centerville and Midvale. It offers a wide selection of training programs for new puppies and adult rescues alike, starting with a trainer evaluation. Trainer Jill has been with the Pups team since 2021, working in private training, group classes and board and train, and brings a personalized, positive approach.

Training programs

Trainer-led group classes cover obedience, leash manners, appropriate puppy play, potty and kennel training and problem management for puppies up to 12 months, with group training for adult dogs too. Puppy Jumpstart is a board and train-style program for puppies 4-12 months covering obedience basics, recall, leash manners, attention games and daily real-world socialization. Private lessons come as single sessions or packages. Dayboard & Train works on obedience or more challenging behaviors in the facility and out and about, and the dog goes home each night. Structured daycare can add 30 or 60 minutes of training for leash pulling, jumping or extra obedience practice.
