About Ralph Clever Working Dogs & Rehabilitation, LLC

What they offer

Ralph Clever Working Dogs and Rehabilitation trains service dogs and rehabilitates behavior problems in the Albuquerque area. Its mission is to help train service dogs for disabled people who need them and to keep dogs living happily in their homes.

Service and working dogs

Service dog training covers a range of disabilities, such as seizure and diabetic alert, through monthly packages of private sessions; a typical program lasts at least a year with daily reinforcement. The business also prepares therapy dogs and other working dogs, and an AKC evaluator offers S.T.A.R. Puppy and Canine Good Citizen testing.

Behavior rehabilitation

Private in-home programs address hyperactivity, fear, anxiety, aggression, barking, jumping, leash reactivity, destruction and fighting between dogs at home, with coaching sessions and a check-up. Socialization sessions in public places help puppies and fearful or reactive dogs get used to people, dogs, noises and objects. Training uses gentle leadership and positive methods.
