About Rancho Terra Norte

What they offer

Rancho Terra Norte is a German Shepherd kennel and herding training facility on Co Rd 82 in Wellington, just north of Fort Collins. It calls itself a "Full-service Herding Training Facility and Event Center" and the home of the Northern Colorado Herding Cooperative. The site says it has an active training program to help you and your dog work together in herding, and that while it loves working with Shepherds, other herding and working breeds are welcome. Its menu also lists co-op herding, a herding introduction, herding trials and events.

Good to know

The facility sits on 40 acres of dryland native grass, and the site says it is set up to host herding events. It also breeds German Shepherds. Ask how to join the training program and what experience your dog needs to start.
