About ReBarkable Abilities

About

ReBarkable Abilities is an obedience training business "currently serving the greater Syracuse area." Its trainer, Kelly, describes the work as starting with a thorough evaluation of each dog's and owner's needs, then applying techniques that are easy to understand, carry out and maintain. The site lists puppy training, basic obedience, socialization, behavior modification and AKC CGC titles.

One-on-one training

Private training is held in the client's home or in public spaces and follows an individualized plan. It begins with a free phone consultation of about 15 to 30 minutes and a 60- to 90-minute introduction and evaluation session for $100; continuing sessions are $75 an hour.

Classes

A six-week puppy group class works on sit, down, stay, recalls and loose-leash walking. The site also lists an AKC Canine Good Citizen course ($125), which ends in a test by an AKC evaluator, and the more advanced AKC Community Canine course ($100). Sign-up is by email to ReBarkableAbilities@gmail.com.
