About Rebound K9

What they offer

Rebound K9 serves dogs throughout Hudson County and New York City with three main programs: private training, where you train alongside the trainer; day train, with hands-on training through the day and owner involvement at home; and board and train, its most comprehensive option. A puppy foundations program and add-ons such as tune-ups are also offered.

Approach

The team takes a balanced, individualized approach using reinforcement, structure, boundaries and fair corrections. Depending on the dog, tools may include food, play, slip leads, prong collars or e-collars. Common goals include pulling, reactivity, overexcitement, insecurity and poor impulse control.

AKC programs

An AKC-approved evaluator offers S.T.A.R. Puppy, Canine Good Citizen, Community Canine and Urban CGC.
