Red Daisy Dog Training's owner and trainer, Sam Martinez, specializes in behavior modification and works with fearful, anxious, aggressive and reactive dogs, on the view that obedience only goes so far if a dog cannot regulate its emotions. Private lessons of one hour or 90 minutes take place in the client's home. Personal Training gives your dog an hour with just the trainer, and structured hikes take up to three dogs to green spaces in and just outside the city to practice pack walking, loose-leash skills and, where allowed and with a solid recall, off-leash skills.

Sam uses all four quadrants of operant conditioning with a play-based approach.

The business serves all of Boston and nearby towns including Brookline, Cambridge, Somerville, Quincy and Newton; in-home services farther out carry a travel fee.
