About Red River Obedience Training Club

A volunteer club since 1959

Red River Obedience Training Club in Shreveport is a non-profit, AKC sanctioned club founded in 1959 to encourage obedience training for purebred and mixed dogs alike. It is run entirely by volunteers, and its motto is "Train Your Troubles Away!" The instructors teach owners to train their own dogs, working on obedience skills and on preventing and correcting troublesome behavior. Members meet on the third Monday of each month.
