About Red Rover
A family dog care center in Bossier City
Red Rover is a 6,000 square foot dog care facility at 606 Stockwell Rd in Bossier City, offering boarding, daycare, grooming and training. It is owned by Cody Mckellar and Quentin Koury. Cody named the business after his family's red Doberman, Alex, at his daughter's suggestion, and Quentin, a Louisiana native and US Army veteran, credits his Sheltie Chloe with his passion for dogs.
Training and services
Red Rover's stated goal in training is to make a dog a well-trained, well-mannered family companion. Daycare gives dogs company and play, grooming runs Monday through Saturday, and boarding welcomes dogs of all sizes that meet safety requirements. Military, police, first responders and seniors over 65 get a 10% discount with valid photo ID.
What owners say
One client called it "hands down the best training facility around," adding that the staff "answered all of my questions." Another wrote that her two nervous rescue dogs, turned away elsewhere, now get excited on the way to daycare.
