About Revolutionary Canine

About

Revolutionary Canine is a dog training facility in Albany, Georgia, working with family pets and working dogs alike. The business dates itself to the spring of 2018 and describes its specialty as "actually NOT specializing at all" – the same staff handle "a high level Working Dog, a Service animal or just a good furry member of the family that may need some structure and training."

Programs

The core of the business is board and train, offered in graded lengths. A three-week "Puppy Imprinting" program takes puppies from nine to sixteen weeks and covers marker training, loose leash walking, sit, down, recall and place. From sixteen weeks, a three-week "FOUNDATIONS" board and train covers on-leash obedience; a four-week "ELITE" adds off-leash work, e-collar conditioning and behavior modification; and a six-week "PLATINUM" extends the same work into real-world settings. Prices are published on the site, from $2,050 for puppy imprinting to $3,950 for the six-week program, each including a debriefing session at pick-up. Owners who prefer to stay involved can book private one-to-one sessions or a small group of three to five handlers, both sold in five-session minimums.

Behavior and specialty work

Behavior consulting is offered either in the owner's home or on the company's ten-acre property in Dougherty County. Socialization work targets dogs that are difficult in public, whether the cause is "a confidence issue or aggression." Beyond pet work the business runs protection, scent and odor detection and tracking programs, sells single and dual purpose law enforcement K9s for narcotics, tracking and patrol, and builds service dogs and emotional support animals. A "Stay & Train" option keeps previously trained dogs polished while owners travel; it is open to past clients only, as the business does not board the general public.
