About Santa Clara Dog Training Club

About the club

Santa Clara Dog Training Club has taught people how to train their dogs since 1954. Its view is that training fits family life best when the owner trains the dog, so its group classes, taught by experienced trainers, coach owners to get reliable responses even around other dogs and people. You do not need to be a member to take a class.

Classes

Most dogs start in Puppy class or Beginning Obedience, depending on age, and continue through Intermediate and Advanced classes. Many owners go on to prepare for obedience trials, rally or scent work, or take a Fit Dog class, and the club runs AKC Canine Good Citizen testing. Classes are held at indoor and outdoor training facilities; the current sessions meet at the Silicon Valley Career Campus, so check the schedule and location when you register.
