About SchaSam Farm

What they offer

SchaSam Dog Sports teaches owners to play many different games with their dogs, from a first introduction to competition. It teaches agility, barn hunt, farm dog, North American Sport Dog and treibball, along with the basic manners each sport depends on.

Lessons and events

Agility starts with foundation work on communication between dog and handler, in private lessons or group sessions on the farm's agility field. Rat sports include barn hunt in three permanent rings. The farm hosts competitions sanctioned by NADAC, the Barn Hunt Association, the AKC, NASDA and the National Association of Treibball Enthusiasts.

Training rules

No flexi leads, pinch collars or e-collars are allowed for lessons on either of its properties, the farm in Stanwood and a field in Mount Vernon.
