How training works

See Jane Dog Behavior and Training starts every program with a consultation to assess the dog's temperament and the family's needs, then builds a plan. Weekly sessions take place in your home, neighborhood and wherever the dog needs to learn, with an emailed recap and handouts after each session and support between sessions. An online option is also offered.

Programs

Programs cover puppy training, adolescent dogs, adult rescues that missed foundation training and polishing older dogs' skills, plus relief from problems such as anxiety and reactivity, including dogs that lunge at other dogs. For busy owners, the trainer can work with the dog three times a week before a session that transfers the results. The service area runs from San Mateo and Redwood City to Palo Alto, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Milpitas and San Jose.
