About Semper Amici Canine Training

Veteran-owned training in Humble

Semper Amici Canine Training is a veteran-owned and operated business at 20230 Cypresswood Drive in Humble, working with dog owners across North Houston. Its name, Latin for "Forever Friends", nods to the Marine Corps motto. Founder Jose began as a Marine K9 handler, and the face in the logo is Gris, his K9 partner on tours overseas.

Programs

The 4×6 Puppy Prep program gives owners of pups under 20 weeks four lessons over six weeks. Puppy All-Aboard is a three-week stay focused on confidence, socialization and early obedience, with owner coaching. The Hybrid Academy pairs course content with one-on-one time with an instructor at the owner's pace. All Aboard & Train is a board and train of 3, 4, 6 or 8 weeks, with work in real-world places such as parks, stores, restaurants and vet offices. Graduates can join alumni services, including training-based boarding, structured daycare, private lessons, scent and trick classes, pet CPR and first aid, and AKC Canine Good Citizen testing.

What owners say
