About Skilled Mutts Company
About
Skilled Mutts Company focuses on behavioral training: teaching dogs which behaviors are wanted and which are not, and building new habits and reactions in both dog and owner. Its trainer is a certified dog trainer who first fostered and trained service dogs for deaf and hard of hearing people and later added mobility task training.
Method
Training is rewards-based and follows the LIMA approach supported by the IAABC and APDT, with lesson plans adjusted as students progress. It works with dogs from very large to very small, through private training, and welcomes referrals.
What they can help with
Behavior modification for unwanted or problem habits.
Private lessons
