About Smart Dog University

About

Smart Dog University is a puppy-focused training business run by Laurie, an independently certified trainer who is on the faculty of Karen Pryor Academy, speaks at animal behavior conferences and has raised service dog puppies for more than 20 years. It serves Frederick, Urbana, Mount Airy, Damascus, Ijamsville, Monrovia, Woodbine, Glenwood, Green Valley, Kemptown and New Market.

Training

Puppy Charm School is offered in three levels of training packages and uses kind, puppy-friendly methods to teach time-sensitive skills. It aims to prevent common problems such as chewing, leash pulling, barking, house-training trouble, jumping up, begging, ignoring the owner and rude greetings.
