About Smoky Creek Dog Training
Smoky Creek Dog Training is based on North Catawba Church Avenue in Lenoir. Its site is built around puppies it has raised and started itself: the front page advertises "Puppies Available Now! In Training and Ready for Their New Homes," with individual pages for each pup and a set of training videos showing their first weeks of work.
What the site says
The business describes itself in its own site description as "a family owned dog training business, offering obedience training as well as trained puppies and adult dogs for sale." The About and Services pages on the site still carry the web builder's supplied placeholder text, so ask about programs, method and pricing.
What that means for you
The videos are genuine content and show the dogs being worked, so there is real training happening; the question is whether, and on what terms, that training is sold as a service for a dog you already own. That is the first question to ask.
Practical detail
It holds a 5.0 Google rating from a small number of reviews. Contact is through the site's contact page.
Who it’s best for
Best for Lenoir-area owners looking at a started puppy, and for anyone willing to call and ask directly whether obedience training is available for their own dog.
