Training and boarding near Cascade

Stone Hollow Dog Training & Boarding is a family-owned and operated training and boarding facility on 42 acres in rural Cascade, Iowa, on the same property as the Topping family's home. Since 2007, Certified Professional Trainer Tory Topping, his wife Abby and their children have offered "solutions, training, and education for all dogs and their families." Tory is described as a Purina-endorsed head trainer, and the business calls itself Eastern Iowa's premier facility for dogs.

Services

Stone Hollow offers dog training, behavior modification, off-leash e-collar training and boarding, and it also runs SH Retrievers. Boarding dogs stay on wooded countryside where they can socialize with other animals, children and adults. The business promises that dogs will go home as "an obedient, social pet who understands how to live in your world."

What owners say

One client wrote that after a 4-week stay her 5-month-old lab "was obedient, could be off leash, and was very well-behaved," with follow-up visits to teach the family. Another said off-leash e-collar training "is the best thing we ever invested in."
