About Superior K9 Training Academy

What they do

Superior K9 Training Academy publishes four training lines – Board & Train, Private Instruction, Personal Protection and Service Dog Training – plus boarding for training clients only. The stated areas of specialization are pet obedience, service dogs, aggression and behavioral modification, and personal protection.

Method

Owner and founder Missy Schmidt has been a professional dog trainer since 1993, and the site says her methods were developed from firsthand experience combining Schutzhund and tactical styles of training, with specializations in service work and protection. Obedience is described as the foundation of everything, and programs are fully customizable by breed and by need.

How board & train works here

The About page makes a point of the arrangement: because it is a small business, dogs do not stay in a crowded off-site kennel – they stay with the trainers in their home. Owners are trained alongside the dog. A free consultation is booked through the contact form.

Location note

The site gives Chattahoochee Hills, GA as its location; the business record places it at Fairburn.
