About Syke Kennels Training LLC

What they offer

Syke Kennels Training is a Jackson dog training and boarding kennel. Its home page lists three training services: puppy basic and potty training, which it says can start as early as 12 weeks once a puppy has had its required vaccinations; basic obedience training covering commands such as sit, stay, come and heel; and behavior modification for problem behaviors like jumping, barking or digging. Its FAQ says it also offers group classes for socialization and basic obedience.

Programs and pricing

The home page starts with a free 30-minute consultation to evaluate the dog and choose a training package. It publishes a 3-week Potty Board & Train program for young puppies at $385.00, covering potty training, crate training, name recognition, leash training and chewing management, and says it includes 1 year of refresher training. Check the site for current prices before booking.

How they train

The home page says its trainers use positive reinforcement techniques, and its FAQ says behavior work combines positive reinforcement with behavior modification techniques for issues such as aggression, fear and separation anxiety. It names the owner as Dyrus.
